It’s time once again to take a look at the latest progress in Star Citizen development through the February 2026 monthly report, alongside updates from the roadmap and the game’s weekly development schedule. In short, it’s a summary of several progress updates rolled into one.

Starting with the monthly report, the update once again covers a wide range of development work. Ship development features prominently, with notable progress across multiple vessels. This includes four currently unannounced vehicles, the Hammerhead moving to gold standard, and continued work on ships such as the Hull-B, the Ironclad, and the Railen.

The narrative section of the report also highlights new developments tied to the Nyx system planned for Alpha 4.7. These include points of interest connected to the Rock Cracker activity previewed during last year’s CitizenCon, along with new refueling stations players will be able to use. The update also mentions work on several new NPCs tied to “an upcoming gameplay loop” expected later this year, which will introduce a new faction representative.

Meanwhile, the development roadmap received a couple of notable additions. The first implementation of in-game crafting is currently targeted for Alpha 4.7, along with a rework of the inventory system. However, both features remain listed as tentative.

Finally, the weekly schedule notes upcoming Evocati testing for updates to the transport system. These changes are intended to enable easier design setup and better integration with instanced content such as hangars. The Evocati test is expected to take place sometime this week, with Wave 1 testing planned to follow.
