Star Citizen Patch 4.7 has finally arrived, and it may be one of the most content-packed system updates the game has ever seen. This overview covers everything announced along with my firsthand experience from the Evocati build. Due to NDA restrictions I can’t show gameplay footage yet, but I can share what players can expect when the update goes live.

The biggest addition is Rockcracker Operations, a brand-new dungeon-style activity tied to asteroids throughout the Nyx system. What initially seems like a simple mining mission quickly turns into something far more complex. These locations are massive multi-level environments featuring combat encounters, puzzles, zero-G sections, and even a monorail system. In total, patch 4.7 introduces 110 Rockcracker locations: 60 exclusive sites, 30 contested areas, and 20 general mission locations. It’s time once again to take a look at the latest progress in Star Citizen development through the February 2026 monthly report, alongside updates from the roadmap and the game’s weekly development schedule. In short, it’s a summary of several progress updates rolled into one.

Starting with the monthly report, the update once again covers a wide range of development work. Ship development features prominently, with notable progress across multiple vessels. This includes four currently unannounced vehicles, the Hammerhead moving to gold standard, and continued work on ships such as the Hull-B, the Ironclad, and the Railen.
